The following email have been edited by me, the mat and.. k lah b. i know u wan publicity so i say ahq the minah oso got help a bit ahq. aler. a bit oni la siyarq. to make it more interesting for eu all la cyg... OKEYH AHQ???

okeyh i start...

(One)
Gua [goo-wah] noun – What some mats and minahs use to call themselves. (now they go with i or euuu ehq? hehe) Similar in using “lu” [loo] when referring to others. A legacy that dates back to the times of Mat Rocks back in the early 80s.

(Two)
Mat [mat] noun (they toking bout me la siyarq)– To the rest of the world, the word simply means a Malay guy. (dis one i knw redii) But within the Malay community itself there is a growing disparity in consensus to its actual meaning. Popularly, it's used to denote a guy who converses primarily in Malay, (not me ehq) as opposed to the more “English speaking” (that one me but i noe la siyol mi english not beri good. dun laugh uhq!) types. Favourites of the mats include tapered jeans, trucker caps and weepy Malay songs with sickeningly suicidal lyrics. (ehq siyol ahq. its not sickening la ehq! its my fabret! bodo! toking bout it, i got one new song eu noe. i create myself wif mi guitar. u all can or not? cannot riite..?! mats got talent.)

(Three)
Matrep [mat-rape] noun – An extreme version of the mat. (not xtreme la. more cool lyk dat uhq). In addition to the usual mat accessories, a matrep will also come adorned with tattoos and matching body-piercings in weird corners of his body. (ehq puki. wat extreme???!! matrep very nice. my brader! body piercings is art okeyh. mind eu. tok dun anyhow ehq!)

(Four)
Minah [mee-nah] noun – An expression used to denote a Malay female. (tat one eu la b) Derived from the popular Malay name, Aminah, (ehq how u noe sehh her name aminah? cleber... flower?) which used to be all the rage some time ago. It was sort of the “in-thing” to name your daughter Aminah back in the 60s and 70s. In fact, legend has it that if you go to Geylang Serai market and shout “Hi Minah!” at least a quarter of the makciks population there is going to turn around and smile at you. (eh walau. my baby kena kol makcik siyarq.. but i hep to agree la seii. evrydae lyk spoilt radio. relii like makcik... buahaha. makcik2 oso i still lup eu k b..?)

(Five)
Picit [pee-chet] adjective – When a mat tells you to “picit” him, it does not mean that he is trying to be cheeky or gay, if he is talking to a fellow mat. It simply means that the mat wants you to call him on his mobile. What were you thinking?
(k guys. anyting picit me ahq.)

(Six)
Relek sua [ree-lek-soo-wah] adjective – Official slogan and life motto of the mats and minahs. (ehq. u sure or not? no la siyol. my slogan not tat one. bodo!)

(Seven)(diz one my fabret)
Sial [see- yal ] noun / adjective – A full stop in every mat's sentence. Eg: “Just now I accident sial buto sial I never lie sial Pain sial”
(Sial = fullstop... ooohhh. now i noe siyal. eh wait. no need put fullstop after the werd siyal)

(Eight)
Sowie [soh-wee] adjective – An expression of apology used by minahs. (now mats too ehq) Commonly used in SMS and instant messaging. Actually they can just use the word “sorry” like every normal human being but minahs think that it will make them sound extra cute (yeap euu damn right this time la siyal) to deliberately talk that way. Example : “I will be late. Sowie!” (oh. this one a bit more ahq. last time we say sowie.. now we say... Cowie.. ok? so the kiyutness will up one level ahq.)

(Nine)
Step [se-tep] adjective – To beguile, dissimulate or impersonate something or someone that they are not. (i tell u redy la siyal. feeling2 like that!) Also commonly used to describe a fellow mat or minah who acts in an arrogant manner. (tat one is if its not used with another werd la ehq. so if STEP means arrogant. if STEP SUMTING den is feeling2 la bodo. aiyo. u forget resi issit???)

(Nine Extended)
Step Jambu [se-tep jam-boo] adjective - What minahs do when they are sitting alone in a train and a group of mats walk in. It is a general exercise where the minah “controls” her facial muscles and posture (ehq not easy u noe. not evryone can. but the minah expert)in a way that would make her look her best. This would usually involve looking incessantly at her handphone for no particular reason. (ala. u duno ehq? the minah see hp means she want euu to ask for her number la siyarq!)

(Ten)
Stop it [setop-eet] adjective – A general expression of intolerance and dismay. When a minah uses this phrase, be very careful for it signals that she is about to lose her cool or get very violent. (ROAR! alerrr ... dun hef la. u all dun belif this one. lyk pro oniq. my minah always say "b! stop it la seii" but she not angry oni. wat oni euu. anyhow say!)

ha. so ehq. dats it la ehq. the top ten werds in the mats translation booklet. tell eu ferst ah ehq. got a few hundreds more ahq to add on. but tat one. part two la ehq.
i want to cleep redi la now. tired u noe............... u duno?
i oso duno.

buahdadadada.
